At Balamitra, children lead all the fundraising activities. They can become:

1. Student Council Members: Children from Grades 11 and 12 can apply to be part of the student council. It’s a 50-60 hour commitment over a period of 2-3 months (typically Aug-Oct). Their primary responsibility would be to organize the annual fundraising “Run For A Better Future“ event. They receive certificates and CAS hours while making an impact and learning various soft skills.

2. Volunteers: Children can sign up as volunteers and do fundraising on their own and contribute or volunteer for the “Run For A Better Future“ event and get registrations and support on the event day.

3. Participants: Children can sign-up for the annual fundraising event (Run) and participate
